What is Soap-Making Chemical?
Soaps have a variety of uses. They are used for washing, bathing, and other cleaning purpose in our life. In industries, they are used as thickeners, components of lubricants, and as precursors to catalysts. When used as cleaning agents, soaps solubilize particles, making it easier for them to be separated from the article being cleaned. In the washing of hands, it is a surfactant and kills microorganisms. Humans have used soap for millennia, with the production of soap-like materials dating back up to 2800 BC in the ancient Babylonian empire.
The fat in the soap might be from either plant or animal sources, while the alkali is called 'Lye'. The chemical reaction between lye and oil to give soap is called saponification. Without lye, saponification is not possible, so lye is a necessary ingredient to create soap. Bar soap and
